today i did a shoot with amy that i only planned this morning, and it was all over the place! we went from coloured light o drenching her with water... i don't even know how we went from one to the other. anyway, these couple of photos above are just a few! there are heaps more, and they turned out really well. so even though the shoot was crazy, it worked out! i always have so much fun photographing amy, she's like a younger sister :-)

gosh i am just in love with these photo's, they are so powerful and full of so much emotion! Michael Donovan is such a  brilliant photographer, i will definitely be posting more of his work in the future. his photography is a huge inspiration for me!

the above images are a few of my quick doodles, as well as some paintings taken with instagram. i am really enjoying this app, it's quite fun to use and i love how the effects can change the image completely which can somehow turn the crappy quality photos of an iphone 3g into something brilliant!

anais

Lachlan Bailey has been one of my favourite photographers for quite a while now and yet again his work hasn't seemed to let me down. this collection of photo's are from issue 5 for Twin magazine in London, involving the wonderful Anais Pouliot. you might have recognized this beautiful face because she is currently on the stands at your local newsagency on the cover of Oyster Magazine.

These photo's are absolutely amazing, they are so sharp and raw. i am literally in love with the all black background and the harsh figure in the centre. her face shows so much emotion throughout these photo's, she has such a wonderful look. i am actually very jealous, especially of her lips since they are so plump and perfect.. completely unlike mine which are so tiny and flat. anyway, i do hope to see more of this gorgeous face around!

through the trees

Last week I did a photo shoot with the lovely Zarah! she is such a sweetie, such a gorgeous girl with the personality to match it. we went to this giant park, which is very forest like, it was so surreal and i couldn't believe that  the city was so close to it. this shoot was inspired by johnnys bird (a couple posts below), although in the end it had it's own style. this shoot was much more natural and peaceful. it was such a nice day as  well which was perfect, since the sun was shining through the trees and gave off such a perfect light! i will have to do another shoot with Zarah soon, it was such a fun day and a great experience.

these days

Yesterday i took some more photo's of amy, and these are just a few of my favourite shots! as usual, the setting was very natural with a basic background and amy as the main feature. There is something about the colours of these photo's that make them quite unique. Today i also had another shoot with Zarah aka http://cosmiceclipse.tumblr.com/, it was a wonderful day and a big adventure! We went to this huge park that was almost like a forest, it was so surreal and incredible. I can't wait for you all to see the photos!
